As an independent Baptist Church, we are not part of any Baptist Union, but we are members of FIEC and AECW.
’Evangelical’ means that we believe the Bible is entirely trustworthy and without error, and we live in the light of that. Our statement of faith is the FIEC doctrinal basis.

I’m married to Lynsey and we have three children. I became a Christian when I was very young and am thankful for my Christian parents. I went to Bible College in Wales and have served in a couple of churches before arriving at Emmanuel in 2019. I love badminton, walking my (overly fast) dog and reading.

Glyn Elis
Elder
I was born in Welshpool, Mid Wales, but moved to Cardiff to start training as a teacher in 1988. I didn’t become a Christian until I was 18 and became a part of the church in Emmanuel after I married my wife Fflur in 1994. We have 3 grown up children. In what little spare I have, I enjoys reading, spending time with friends and family, as well as playing and watching sport.
Gareth Davies
Elder
I became a Christian on a summer camp when I was ten and started attending Emmanuel Church in 2001 after finishing Uni. I’m blessed to be married to Jenna since 2005. And in any spare time I get love to read, watch the West Wing or follow Wrexham Football Club wherever they are playing.
